Our Releases

You can stream and/or download the original songs by PilGrims in ProGress on Spotify, Deezer, Amazon, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Google Music, KKBox, Pandora, Tidal, iHeart Radio, Napster – in short, at all major stores. Our releases have found positive resonance at home and abroad. “Hold Her Like You Mean It” was showcased in Mexico on El Rocanrosaurio’s INDIE GENTE radio show. Several of our songs have also been featured by Canadian SiriusXM radio host Eric Alper (ThatEricAlper.com) in his Spotify playlist of the best indie titles of the week. “The Tourist” was featured on Caltify MX’s (Mexico) playlist “Hidden Gems”. “The Tourist”, “In Small Things Forgotten” “Fare Thee Well, Pilgrim” and “Hat Into the Ring” all charted on 752.2 Internet Radio in the USA. Tommi Tikka (musicto.com/celebrate-life Finnland) selected “In Small Things Forgotten“ as his “Track of the Month“, calling it „…an incredible tune with a beautiful, haunting melody, great lyrics and a production that emulates the likes of Lou Reed and David Bowie.“

“Epigonia” Our first album, “Epigonia”, was released on the Bellarmine Records label In May 2022. The album presents an eclectic mixture of rock genres, with intricate instrumentals and innovative lyrics. The album’s title indicates where the journey is leading, albeit with a healthy dose of self-irony. “Epigonia” stands for the band’s musical heading. It does not mean simply emulating the “heroes” of the past, but creating our own unique sound. While you can recognize the influence of the progressive, art und classic rock greats, the product of this inspiration is anything but “epigonal.”

New Single
The new single from PilGrims in ProGress, "Telegraph Hill" was released on 8 September 2023 and is available at all major streaming platforms.

Live
PilGrims in ProGress also play live (if you book us)! Our live program consists both of our own original songs and a broad range of progressive und classic rock covers. However, we are not a “Tribute Band“– when we cover other bands and artists it is always in our own style. Our aim is to introduce to our audience lesser known songs that we like or that have influenced us and to present our own interpretations of more well-known works.

Here is a setlist from one of our recent concerts:

Perfect Strangers (Deep Purple)
Bombs Away (Flying Colors)
Sometimes I Feel like Screaming (Deep Purple)
The Tourist
All of Your Heroes Are Dead
Somewhere Far Away
Battle Flag
Kayla (Flying Colors)
Hat Into the Ring
Hold Her Like You Mean It
In Small Things Forgotten
White Room (Cream)
Onar (Runrig)
She is Everything (Spock’s Beard)
Roundabout (Yes)
Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd)
