PilGrims in ProGress is a ProGressive Rock Band based in Bonn, Germany. The band was founded in 2013 by guitarist Henning Reyers and bassist Dugald Sturges. Guy Manderscheid and his drum kit joined in 2015. After a few changes in personnel, André Straschewski has been on board as keyboarder since April 2019. Guitarist Luís Pires joined the band in December 2021. Five musicians from four countries, born on three continents, but with a common quest: we are all (to paraphrase Yes) “sound chasers”. With our own works and an eclectic program of covers, PilGrims in ProGress is not a typical “Tribute Band”. We play the music that moves us, regardless of genre or era, in our own and sometimes unexpected interpretations. Because that is what we consider to be the essence of “ProGressive” Rock: A never ending musical journey of exploration. We most cordially invite our listeners to join us on this journey!
